Skills Exchange - Section Specific Rules

Post by Gallagher on Fri Apr 29, 2016 7:52 pm

When posting a thread in the Skills Exchange section, you will need to abide by these rules.

    What Threads Are Allowed?

You can post threads either to introduce people to/teach any legal skill, and you may post threads asking how to do any legal skill. As an addendum, threads about mature/explicit activities are not allowed.

EX: You can post about/ask how to make tables from scratch or how to perform maintenance on a car, but you may NOT make threads about how to exploit vulnerabilities in software or how to pirate commercial software.

    Post Contents

Some of the subjects discussed in this section may be "arts" subjects. They are so named because of how every person has their own approach to doing them; there is no correct method. Do not get into arguments or other silliness because of a disagreement on methods

Unless the suggested method literally does not work, that is. Even then, please don't get into arguments or insult matches or etc.

    Prohibited Actions

As posted above, you may not discuss illegal activities or mature/explicit subjects here. In addition, you may not discuss how to exploit or modify the client of any online game.

You may not post the material of others here as your own. If you have a source that you really want to cite, please link directly to the source. If the source site has malware or is a mess of advertisements, please instead either find another source or do not mention them at all.

You may not provide free access to any material that is actively being sold. EX: If you are in a paid online class to learn a language, you may not share anything from that class here. I am fairly sure that's illegal anyway.
