With the Fiona Revamp before last, the damage calculation for boss damage was changed. Since then, it has never been rediscovered.
Math is far from my best subject, but as a community, maybe we can gather enough data to work out an approximation of the formula again.
Since the formula should be the same for all bosses, it shouldn't require a gigantic amount of data to be able to pinpoint it. With this in mind, let's focus on three specific attacks from three specific bosses:
1: Lord Glas Ghaibhleann's single turning slash in Phase 1 of the battle.
2: Havan's sideways swipe
3: Lugh Lamhfada's backswing
To contribute, just post something like "Attack 1: (Your DEF here) - (damage taken here)". Even individual damage submissions are fine. Just as long as the numbers are accurate.
Please be careful of broken armor, status buffs/debuffs, and critical hits if contributing. For simplicity's sake, let's avoid dealing with those.
Here is an example of a damage value submission, using imaginary numbers:
Attack 1: 18999 DEF - 42 damage
