Guild Banners - Keep or Toss?

I'm on the fence on whether or not these are actually beneficial.

They are neat, but they are increasing the minimum height of posts, and kinda serve the same purpose as signatures.

I'm not going to make my decision purely based on the results of the poll, but it will help me figure out what I want to do with them.

So: I open this poll. Are Guild Banners worth their space?

Personally, I think its a great idea. An avatar/signature expresses the individual, but a guild banner exhibits camaraderie, represents brotherhood. Being in Vongola is ohana for me and I'd like the opportunity to show my pride as a guild member. That being said my pride is/are my guild members.
